Surprisingly soft! I didn't know I could be impressed by lamination, but here we are! I think the "soft-touch" adds to the tool itself actually. When you hold it you are reminded to be soft with yourself, and look deeper into feelings, which is often times hard to do. At least that's what I tell my clients ☺️
